About Me

Hi! I am Mrs. Irma N. and I am the director here at Marietta ELC. I am 36 years old, I am half French and half Cypriot (small Greek island) and speak both Greek and French fluently. I was born in France but raised in Cyprus, and recently moved to Atlanta 8 years ago with my husband and dog. We welcomed our son Elias in 2013 and later our daughter Melina in 2017.
I love learning new languages and am currently learning Spanish and ASL (American Sign Language).
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting and followed that by 3 years of professional education in accounting which is the equivalent of a Certified Public Accountant in the USA. I worked in a high-profile accounting firm for 4 years, but it was not for me. I branched out as a French teacher for gifted children for 3 years before moving to the USA. I took 4 years off to raise my two children and was able to continue doing so while at Marietta ELC for the last 4 years.
As I adore my work and the teachers and children I work with, I consider myself truly blessed.
I have a terrible fear of flying (and heights in general) but my love for traveling is stronger. I have traveled all over Europe and would love to visit every state in North America. I still have many states to check off my list.
